Changements since last public release (CBM FileFinder 0.6.0 Beta).
For historical changes see Changes/Updates section in the help file

RECODE:

General coding speed optimization (code less readable but fastest execution)

Analysis modules code overriding: all the informations not useful to THIS project (as Blocks free calculation, track/sector start, etc.) are commented and not even executed.

Matching array loop routine ordered by most common PC filetypes and CBM Filetypes

ADDS:

Added a [WARN] tag in the result, if Show Warning is checked. Useful to quickly find warning messages

Added LyNX analysis

Added D80 analysis (8050 single side floppy image)

Added D82 analysis (8052 double side floppy image)

Added X64 analysis (multistandard container)

Added DiskPack ZipCode analysis

Added GZIP compressed file support

All the subfolders are now sorted (and analyzed) by name and not by creation date (quicksort algorithm)

Added check/unchek all PC filetypes (except SID type) and CBM filetypes (execpt SCR type in order to avoid unwanted results)

Added window control autoresize (3 modes: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and over): main purpose is to obtain a wider result window)

Added Font size cycling (all Terminal: the only present on system that has a fixed spacing and some special chars like CBM font)

Added Result Window scrolling during the process

Added Result Window Max Store reached message in the textbox itself

Added Initialization file (for font size, window size, search path, result file path, result file name)

Added a double progress bar (one for directories, one for files)

Added new build numbers in the OS Checking routine

Now you can override the messagebox error in the analyzing routines only setting the AnalyzeErrorBox=FALSE in the MAIN section of ini file

Vista warn shows can be disabled: I tested the app shortly on this OS and it seems to work w/out problems. So decided to release a unique version, until someone has some real problems on that OS.

Intro screen can be closed by pressing spacebar .

Splash (intro) screen appears the first time that the program is executed.

BUGFIXES:

Now password-protected files in an archive file generate a warn message, but the program doesn't hang and continues with its works. This was the only known bug that i could'nt get fixed since version 0.4.0.

SID option has a tooltip referring to G64's

Some compressed files (especially GZ) could contain invalid characters (like : \ and so on ) in filenames that crash the search engine. If warn option is activated this will be reported.

Error trapping in some analysis routines was not perfect, the application could stop and exit.

Incorrect email address reported when you click on the label of the intro

Inconsistent ResultFilePath path in ini file fixed

Inconsistent LookingPath in ini file fixed

Path access denied doesn't fill you with error messageboxes, but just displays on the result window if SHOW WARNINGS is selected

Changed the link to our homepage in the intro, because geocities quit free hosting
