As you can see, the way uphill was my starting point. Was still optimistic then. Thought with $06 in $d021 nothing might go wrong... But (while cracking my head about the clouds which shortly before finishing were completeley dumped) comparing orginal again and again, I noticed, my version was totally off considering time-of-night (would need far more black), so went over it a couple of times, reduced Cyan to an absolute minimum, but... MEH...
So what to do with it... letting it rot on my HD... save it for the next Monkey Island Competition (maybe craptastic in the motto) or just release... :)
PS: Yeah, I _DID_ consider to animate it or do some fancy FX like sprites and/or scroll, but that would only made it more embarrassing from my perspective :D |
