Originally intended for a Halloween release, this demo was centred around what we called the Zombie Intro. The first version of this intro was actually done in 2004 by LHS and recoded by LHS in 2020 for this demo. The original intro's text was in multicolour since it was designed to be done with expanded sprites. Since LHS had already coded it in hires sprites instead, Cupid re-designed _V_'s text into a hires version... And then we changed the text in the intro and Cupid created a whole font (!dead Hires Charset) out of it, while swearing at me ;-) The original text of the intro was centred around a "the impossible" theme, but since the parts in the demo didn't feel all that impossible to us after all, most of the group voted to change this text.

It was always intended to be a short time - about the length of the tune (Orione) which had already been done by _V_ in 2004. I ended up taking the lead on getting this done and even got _V_ to lengthen and update his tune and create additional graphics (the moon end part and the walking zombie), even though he thought I was crazy trying to put this together in a couple of months. Doomed helped out with integrating things into the demo system and Dano contributed the basic fader, Metaballs and the Zoomer. LHS whipped up three more parts within weeks, Cupid pixeled lots of graphics for us.

Music by _V_.
BasicFader: Dano (code), !dead logo by Cupid.
Zombie Intro: LHS (code), _V_ (images, font basis), Cupid (font completion & enhancement)
!dead title, FLI chessboard: LHS (code), Cupid (logo & blood drop animation)
MetaBalls: Dano (code), Cupid (logo)
Border Eyes: LHS (code) graphics adapted from Zombie Intro
CharmodeZoomer: Dano (code), Cupid (textures, logo)
Credits screen: LHS (code), _V_ (eyes), Cupid (sideborder sprites, font and graveyard mask)
Moon end: Anonym ("code"), _V_ graphics
Dirart: Cupid

The end part was inspired by the end of Yello's video for Waba Duba. _V_ had the idea to make the circle into a moon.
