From WEC, himself.

‘Pump’ was created sometime during early 2000, during the creation of demo part Andromeda, which appears during Zeros & Ones (2011)

Crossbow/Crest had the idea for a vertical scrolling interlaced font. Initially I assumed Crossbow had coded a font editor that would allow for such front creation. This turned out not to be the case, and the only way to create such a font at the time was to pixel a 1x2 font all the while imagining what it might look like interlaced. Two fonts were created, ‘Stamp’ and ‘Pump‘. Stamp appears during the demo part, while Pump has remained in storage until today.
