VSP Lab v1.0 User Manual
========================

This program only supports PAL for now.

Run the program on a machine that is prone to VSP crashes. Watch the grid. Each
crash causes a number to be incremented and highlighted. Press F1 to clear all
the highlights.

Each column of the grid represents a VSP channel. When the program has been
running for some time, if there are no highlights in a column, then the
corresponding VSP channel is safe.

The set of safe channels is different on different machines, and can change
with the temperature of the VIC chip. It usually takes around 10 minutes for
the VIC chip to reach a stable working temperature after power-on. For your
convenience, there's a timer on the screen. You can press F7 to reset the
timer.

Once you've found a safe channel, you can try it out with the small example
demo included on the disk.

For in-depth technical information, please refer to the CSDB forum thread
titled "New VSP discovery".
