@Sixx I haven't found any other Dr Mario clones for C64, that's why I chose to do this. I'm interested in doing any other clones of popular puzzlers that haven't been done on our system.

Previews been released since the mid/late 80's. Didi and co did a good job releasing this, i'm not sure Flimsoft would have "released" their "demo version" a couple hours later if this wouldn't have hit the boards.

I say it again: Releasing such a fine preview under a lamer label is a god damn shame, but it's Didi and co's decision.

Is it just me, or hasn't there been ANY Dr. Mario clone released on the C64 before?

It was and is still about finding stuff first, releasing it first. Some stuff I have found have been floating around for years without anyone grabbing or knowing about it, f.ex. Dungeon Blaster +3D or SRogue V1.0 &D. I think that is still considered a good thing to bring forth.

Crappy stuff might end up under lamer labels, though. This game is not crap, that is why Sixx (ad I) think it's weird.

Considering the recent development, I can't understand why ppl still release work in progress anywhere on the internet and are surprised to find a crack, normally "zero"/the same day ;)

Maybe it was published using lamer label because it's lame to release a "crack" of a public available preview without any improvements.

C'mon, Sixx. Though I see your point and also dislike the practice of cracking every half-baked game you can find on the web, don't throw bricks when you live in a glass house. ;)

I don't think, there's a big difference nowadays between free preview/fullprice and work-in-progress/nobody knows yet if commercial or PD. OK GP didn't use their lamer label. ^^

Confused. You seriously release this fine preview of a fullprice game under one of your lamer labels?

I've been following the development of this game for a while, and it sure is a great Dr. Mario clone. Shame on you, proud lamers!
