This is an interesting demo as it was released during the period where TRIAD was rebuilding - not too long after Jerry had taken over. Scroll texts are defensive, argumenting *for* TRIAD, saying that this is in fact the same group that was founded by Ixion. Still, graphics says "NEW TRIAD", something that Jerry wanted to have in the beginning but was later scrapped.

Split was released at an internal TRIAD meeting in Bålsta (at Cook's place). Apparently he was a pinball and arcade collector as they were playing while waiting for the cruncher =)

What is also interesting here is that the members of the meeting include both members from "New TRIAD" and the old gang; Jerry, The Cook, Guran, Sgt pepper, Mr. Z, 5011, Wizard, 3D, Euzkera and Sony. Also Bob/Light was present, working on a TRIAD/Light coop demo (assumingly Triad+Light-Co). As Euzkera was counted for as a TRIAD member, he must have joined before Bob did.

The demo contains an upper area for TRIAD and a lower area for Horizon. Brothers Sony and Mastermind did the respective parts. You can press '1' to cycle through the three TRIAD parts, while pressing '2' gets you to the second Horizon part. Pressing '2' again will however not advance nor cycle the Horizon area, which is probably a bug. There is scroll text in memory indicating that there was in fact a third Horizon part, but I can't seem to get to it.

"Mr. Z and 3D are playing chess" - Priceless!

Uncertain about the release date though. Can anyone confirm it?
