Ah sorry, indeed some characters are used multiple times. In total 246 characters are being used, but the upper and lower bars use characters more than once.
I checked in Charpad.

Actually this one was not done in Koala.
The outline of the font was done in photoshop on 640x400 canvas. I converted it to the 16 colors palette of the C64 which gave me an outline in black and 2 colors grey. I resized it to 160x200 pixels and later to 320x200 to obtain the double width pixels. Then saved it to png with transparent background. This png was imported in Multipaint where I colored it pixel by pixel by hand. I used to this on Koala 35 years ago with a Suzo Arcade joystick in port 2. I must admit that using a mouse makes the job way easier. All the stuff I made is probably lost and was only spread on my local schoolyard. It’s so cool to see that I finally made the big public more than 30 years later. There sure is more to come.
