Description:
Text:strobe of onslaught here with vdc one-o-one, a very 'last minute' flashback party demo release for the mostly forgotten vdc chip in the one two eight. what you're looking at is a new raster split technique for the vdc - let's call it 'vdc-split' because we are so original on these platforms - this new method can divide the screen into two or more areas with independently controllable base addresses and x-y smooth scrolling - something not possible before - this makes it possible to do some more traditional style demos on the vdc. you know, like, with a scroller! throw in a dycp and an x-y logo swinger - which sadly haven't been done on the vdc either - and you have a little demo that may not win any beauty awards, but - as the name suggests - lays the groundwork for some more vdc demos into the future! greets to everyone at flashback sydney, especially jazzcat and reload for making it happen and trinarylogic for getting this rgbi signal up on screen, to the rest of the onslaught crew, the vice dev team and my old mate witty! creds - code, char set and, quick n dirty 'logo' - strobe. music - babyface. enjoy the rest of the old skool demos at flashback! strobe out...
