Hain actually did open his first sideborders a year earlier here: Parados Intro
You can't miss the screwed up colors in the intro. We all had b&w monitors at the time so nobody ever noticed :)

Well well.. 2 corrections: it was not Hain who coded the intro :) The intro was actually coded by me.
And it was ripped by some guy claiming to be from Parados when Parados was dead already and he just snapped his intro infront of the crack. And made a stupid bug while doing so. You can see the correct intro here: Parados Intro
It does have this bright small line on the sideborder but that was the problem of my old monitor: it was beyond what i could see.
