Oooh yes, similar at any case! Very interesting this video. With crazy sound and night level too! :-)

Novagen's Encounter - a brilliant oldie with 3-D atmosphere and fast scrolling! ...and this 1984, a little revolution! Perhaps Novagen inspired by Atari's Battlezone?

As you call this Encounter II, I checked out the original game Encounter.
I see the similarities but I miss the radar a bit to find the enemies.

"Deathchase", "Spectrum" ??? Wrong!!!

1. There is "worldofspectrum.org" (very good page). Hahahaha, yes, i often ripped a lot of title pics and imported/converted it for our system, which keeps back by the companies for the C 64 version.
But i never played "Deathchase" on spectrum and i don't have this old "wood-computer" (i'm a hardliner on COMMODORE 64)!

2. In 2010 i played "Zagan Warrior" - first thought: "Must have on C 64!" - second thought: "But better!"
Final result: It makes no difference by which system is the original and what's its name.
But only this kind of 3-D shooter is now available for our C 64!
I love the racing, coursing and the "man-to-man-fights" of HELL RACER!
Hope (some of) you like it too...

Nice little game! Incredible pic converts in Bonus d64! I guess it's not possible to get SFX credited since there is no music in the game?

Cute little game. A little too basic on the graphic side, but enjoyable. Nice bonus picture too. It is not related to the game and has some opinable dithering but still... worth a look or two.

3D DeathChase ripoff ? :) complete and utter ;-) and with tree stumps instead of trees :) But otherwise - very playable - good job :)

game is really fun! i haven't played Encounter that much but absolutely liked this one. at my first two attempts i managed to clear a few areas but my score is still below 10000. i need to practice a litte bit.

thanks DATA-LAND, it's a great game. i'll let you know my highscore when i reach a reasonable score.
