And I thought Algo was the only one doing this kind of stuff.
Very smooth and with cool music. Great effort, guys!

Yeah, thanks a bunch guys!! Too bad we couldn't make it to Datastorm ourselves, it would have been fun having it in the compo, but since the event was sold-out, and no remote entries were allowed we decided to let Taper hand it in for us as an out-of-compo demo.

Thank you for all the nice comments!

One funny thing: I batch converted the mplayer-dumped frames to screens with Algotech CSAM from 2007 using WINE and a xmacro wrapperscript :) When I started this project on my own about half a year ago, I figured there could be a tool for building images from chars and I found the Sabrina/CSAM homepage via Google. After being away for 20 years, a tool from 2007 seemed quite new to me. Only two weeks later the site was offline! "Glad I got that utility before it died", I thought.
As I did not use to visit CSDb back then (and maybe still wouldn't if not Ruk directed me here before the relase), I didn't realise until today there actually is a CSAM3 from 2011 :-D Wow

Saw it live on SceneSat! Awesome stuff. Loved the dropping letters – had coded a similar thing a few decades ago but never released... oh well... did you guys got hold of my 5.25'' disks? ;-)
